Patterns in Motion is a signature workshop by Avril exploring how your unique structure and personal tendencies shape the way you move both on and off the mat.
What to Expect:
In this immersive experience, we’ll explore the skeletal and muscular foundations of twisting, break down common alignment compensations, and practice hands-on adjustments that create more stability, space, and ease. You’ll learn how to twist intelligently not by forcing range, but by understanding your body.
We’ll then shift from structure to self-awareness with a guided dosha quiz and discussion.
We'll explore how your Ayurvedic constitution influences the way you move, hold tension, rush, resist, or over-effort.
Through small-group reflection and full-circle integration, you’ll begin to recognize your patterns not to fix them, but to work with them.
We’ll close with a grounding sound bath to integrate the physical and energetic layers of the practice.
This workshop is designed for students who want to move with more awareness, deepen their understanding of alignment, and reconnect with their nature on the mat and in life.

About Sound Journey
Through a combination of sound frequencies from varying instruments, this sound healing experience will encourage relaxation, deep rest, and restoration of the nervous system.
All you have to bring is yourself, an open mind, water to rehydrate, and anything you'd like to be cozy such as an eye mask and comfortable clothing.
The studio will provide yoga mats, blankets, cushions, and bolsters. There is no movement required besides getting into a comfortable position for meditation and the sound bath.
Join Gaby for an afternoon of deep restoration and inner healing focused on the Manipura, our Solar Plexus Chakra. The Solar Plexus Chakra is where we hold our personal power, located just above the navel. When this chakra is balanced, we feel motivated, determined, and take action. An imbalanced Solar Plexus Chakra manifests as needing control, fearing failure, feeling no sense of direction, and lacking self-esteem. This curated experience will include a chakra-focused meditation, sound bath, and workshop on different ways to keep our Manipura balanced.
This event is open to individuals or all fitness levels and abilities, and no prior knowledge of sound healing or the chakras is required.
What to Bring/Wear:
- Comfortable clothing (optional: in yellow for the Solar Plexus)
- Eye pillow (optional)
- Layers for warmth and comfort during the sound bath
- Journal and pen
